Dignity and help
when it matters most
In Houston, we walk beside families in their hardest moments — covering funeral, medical and daily expenses. No bureaucracy. No painful questions. You should never have to repeat your grief to be helped.

How we help
Three ways we stand with you
Funeral support
Help with funeral and burial costs so families can say goodbye with dignity — born from the very pain that started this foundation.
Medical & daily needs
Assistance with medical bills, groceries and everyday expenses for low-income families going through a crisis.
Community food benefits
When there are no direct funds, we organize a plate-sale benefit right away — neighbors feeding neighbors to raise what a family needs.
Our golden rule
“We organize the benefit — but the family collects the money directly.”
Total transparency. We always ask that a relative receive the funds first-hand, so every donor knows exactly where their love is going.

Marlogee & Gabriel
A foundation born from a mother's love — and from a promise that no one else should suffer alone.
In loving memory
Gabriel Ángel Maciel
Sunrise · October 26, 1992 🕊️
In December 2014, this foundation was created in memory of my son, Gabriel Ángel Maciel. When Gabriel passed away, I did not have the resources for his funeral.
I asked the city for help, and I was passed from one person to another — six different people — having to repeat my painful story over and over, only to be told in the end that they could not help me. It was frustrating and heartbreaking.
“I decided that no one else should ever go through that.”
“Baby boy… like you used to tell me — ‘it's all good mommy, I love you patches.’ I love you too, my patches, and always will.”

The founder
Marlogee
Gabriel's mother · Houston, Texas
Out of her own loss, Marlogee turned grief into a mission. Since 2014 she has cooked and sold plates of food to raise funds, helping families with medical bills, funeral costs and everyday needs.
In our foundation we don't ask bureaucratic questions. If someone needs help and there are no direct funds, we organize a food benefit immediately — always asking a relative to collect the money directly, for full transparency.
Beyond the foundation, Marlogee also loves to sing — finding light and healing in music.
Carry the promise forward
